Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hinds of Jacksonville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 12.
They are the parents of three children, Randy of Jacksonville, Rick (wife, Jennifer) of Edwardsville and Michelle of Jacksonville. They have five grandsons.
Mr. Hinds retired from the State of Illinois, and Mrs. Hinds retired from Jacksonville Family Medical Associates.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary with an open house next Sunday, June 19, from 2-4 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 2106 S. Main St. in South Jacksonville. No gifts are requested.
