Elmer “Dean” and Marilyn “Kay” Daniel of 308 N. Carrollton St., White Hall, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, July 10.
They were married July 10, 1976, in White Hall with Rev. Alfred Eastin officiating.
The Daniels are the parents of three daughters, Brenda (husband, Rick) Witt of rural Roodhouse, Kimberly Isham-Carter of Jacksonville and Lisa (husband, Doren) Smith of Rockford. Their grandchildren are Dan (wife, Deb) Piper of Chatham, Sami (husband, Jared) Dixon of Murrayville, Lucas Mathews of Franklin, Caleb Smith of Rockford and Lexi Smith of Bloomington. They have one great-grandson, Brock Dixon.
Before retirement, Mr. Daniel operated Daniel Agency, a real estate company, and Mrs. Daniel owned Kay’s North End Cafe.
The couple celebrated with a private family party.
